Set against a monumental backdrop highlighted by the château’s historic staircase, the Bar is where your stay begins and ends. A premier cocktail destination, this elegant space overlooking the front of the park is where our bartender, William Billaud, crafts his own signature recipes.

"Apothéose d’Hercule," "Chemins de Sologne," "O-malley," "Honoré de Balzac"—each cocktail name (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) pays homage to the history of the Château, one of our other country estates, or the horses at the Maffliers stables. Interested in learning the craft? William offers a mixology workshop where he introduces you to the art of crafting a classic cocktail or creating a drink inspired by the moment.

At Augustine, you'll be welcomed by Daniel Massano, the great-great-grandson of the last owner.

He introduces his guests to the hospitality of grand bourgeois estates. He has taken out the family’s beautiful porcelain dinnerware and vintage silverware from old trunks.

Your host invites you to choose your setting: are you in the mood for the Boudoir, the Fresco Room with its sweeping view of the park, or perhaps the Chestnut Salon?

On the menu: refined, classic French cuisine, made from scratch using excellent local ingredients selected by Chef Ulysse Mérigaud.

From eggs in red wine sauce for cold winter days to the perfect egg with a fresh pea salad for warmer weather. Beef Wellington for two, milk-fed lamb with artichokes cooked in a casserole—the spirit of sharing guides every menu. The desserts are equally delicate, indulgent, and generous: from jasmine pot de crème to French toast. A menu that pairs perfectly with our wine list, featuring a selection of over sixty labels.

As welcoming as a family home, yet completely free of constraints, our estate offers a wealth of activities for you to enjoy and recharge. Starting right from the manor, the forest unfolds with miles of walking trails: first through the estate’s private woods, which will soon be marked with flags, and then into the L’Isle-Adam state forest.

Whether in the stables or the pastures, horses are an integral part of life at the manor. Horse enthusiasts are welcome to gather around the riding arena or the indoor arena to watch training sessions. There’s never a dull moment on the castle grounds: an outdoor pool, a pétanque court, a children’s playground, mushroom picking, badminton, and both regular and electric bikes available for rent.
